A Statehouse lobbyist from Powell died Wednesday during a golf outing after being stung at least 20 times by bees as he searched for a ball in woods in northern Michigan. Authorities say 64-year-old Darryl Dever and a doctor friend were playing Treetops Resort's north course when Dever went into the woods. Dever was representing several organizations at the Statehouse and was a past president of the Ohio Lobbying Association.
