Faith leaders are holding a week long prayer vigil at the Statehouse. It is sparked by the Moral Monday movement in North Carolina, where participants engage in peaceful demonstrations to protest the government's stand on important issues. One of the organizers is Reverand Mark Diemer of Columbus.
Diemer says the group will be praying about issues including education, the criminal justice system, health care, women's rights, youth and economic justice.
