Statue Of World War I Soldier Reinstalled In Park

A damaged and discarded statue of a World War I soldier has been reinstalled at a memorial park in Lakemore. The 3 1/2-foot high zinc World War I statue was stolen in September 2008 from the park where it stood for 60 years. Two weeks later, the statue was found damaged in a nearby reservoir. Two veterans spent hundreds of hours repairing the statue that was reinstalled on Monday.
