Stone To Help Commemorate KSU Shootings
Filmmaker Oliver Stone will headline events planned to commemorate the anniversary of the Kent State University shootings.
Stone will speak tonight as part of dedication ceremonies for the May Fourth Visitors Center on campus. Students will hold a candlelight march and vigil through tomorrow at the spots where four students were killed by Ohio National Guard soldiers on May Fourth, 1970. Nine other students were injured in the shootings during a Vietnam War protest.
