Storm Changes Ohio Schedules For Presidential Candidates

Oct 30, 2012

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is in the Dayton area today, urging supporters to help victims of the stormy weather.

Another Romney event in Lima has been canceled. Romney and President Obama canceled campaign stops Monday as Hurricane Sandy struck the East coast. The President has also canceled Ohio campaign stops on Wednesday, but a stop in Springfield is planned for Thursday. Still, the candidates continue focusing on Ohio. University of Virginia political scientist Larry Sabato believes the GOP stronghold of Cincinnati will be a key spot, given that it went for candidate Obama in 2008.
