Storms Leave Thousands Without Power

The State Highway Patrol says strong thunderstorms overnight brought high winds that damaged barns and trees and caused thousands of power outages throughout the state. Several barns have been damaged in Wapakoneta and trees have been leveled in Auglaize County. Morrow County Emergency Management Agency Director Joe Edward says there are reports of two possible tornado touchdowns in the county. National Weather Service officials will determine whether there were any twister touchdowns. At least 10 thousand Franklin County residents were left without power and Marion County Sheriff's deputies report a barn crashed through a house in LaRue.
