It appears the Strongsville teachers' strike will continue next week with no end in sight.The union invited the school board to resume negotiations on Saturday, but the board president refused, citing an agreement to meet only with a federal mediator. Teachers hit the picket lines after nine months worth of failed contract negotiations. Sticking points include salaries, benefits, and working conditions. High School students held a rally last night calling for an end to the two week old strike. Organizer Jordan Kelly says the strike is dividing the student body.
