The U.S. Supreme Court has rejected the latest appeal by Ryan Widmer of Warren County, who was seeking a fourth trial in the 2008 bathtub drowning death of his wife Sarah. The justices rejected Widmer's appeal without comment on Monday. Widmer was seeking a DNA test of his wife's remains, which he claims could clear him. Widmer is serving 15 years to life in prison. His first trial in 2009 ended in a mistrial over juror misconduct, while the jury in his second trial deadlocked on a verdict. The jury in his third trial found him guilty in 2011.
