Super PAC Has Ties To Brown

Operators of a Super PAC that's spent more than 300-thousand dollars against Republican U.S. Senate candidate Josh Mandel have past ties to Democratic incumbent Sherrod Brown.Columbus attorney Don McTigue was Ohio's deputy elections director under Brown in the 1980s. The PAC's treasurer drove for Brown's wife during his 2006 campaign. Such ties break no election rules, but
Brown has criticized a similar relationship between another outside group and Mandel's one-time staffer.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
