Suspect In Ashland Slavery Case To Plead Guilty
An attorney says his client plans to plead guilty to charges that he helped enslave and beat a mentally disabled woman and her daughter and steal her pain medication.
Russell Bensing says the charges against David Brown reflect the lesser degree of his involvement in the case. Three other people are charged with targeting and recruiting Shannon Eckley and her daughter in 2010 and holding them until last October in a house in Ashland. The mother of one of the defendants says the allegations are lies.
