Suspect Competent To Stand Trial For Killing Attorney And His Wife
A Summit County judge has ruled a 19-year-old man is competent to stand trial in the bludgeoning deaths of a prominent attorney and his wife.
Two psychologists say they found Shawn Ford Junior competent and capable of assisting in his own defense. Ford has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity in the April slayings of Jeffrey and Margaret Schobert in their home in New Franklin. A teen boy faces delinquency charges in the slayings.
