Columbus police have filed charges against a man for beating and killing another man last November in a North Linden home. Police say 47-year-old Allen Jarrell beat and killed 45-year-old Jonathan Lofton at a Loretta Avenue home. No word on a motive. Jarrell was arrested last week in Mason, Ohio.
