A hearing is scheduled July 17 for the teen charged with killing four people found in an East Hudson Street home over the weekend. Prosecutors say they will ask a judge to try 16-year-old Jordyn Wade as an adult, citing his criminal record of drug, burglary and arson charges. Columbus police have not provided a motive for the slayings. Defense attorney Eric Hoffman entered the juvenile equivalent of a not-guilty plea to delinquency counts of murder and kidnapping for his client on Monday.
The victims are identified as 41-year-old Michael Ballour, 18-year-old Tyajah Nelson, 26-year-old Daniel Sharp and 35-year-old Angela Harrison. A group of 80 friends and relatives held a vigil near the crime scene last night.
