Suspect In Two West Side Rapes Sentenced To Prison

One of the Columbus men convicted of two gang rapes will serve 15 years prison. 20-year-old Gerardo Carrera is one of three people who prosecutors say assaulted two women in the Hilltop area in September of 2014. The other suspects, Cortez Diaz and David Pablo, are awaiting trial. Prosecutors say the defendants told police that assaulting the women would be a fun thing to do.
