Suspected Thief Assaulted

Columbus police are searching for suspects after a man suspected of stealing tires was beaten with a tire iron and shot early this morning.

Police say the unnamed man is hospitalized in critical condition after being assaulted in back of a Bulen Avenue home on the East side. Police questioned three people but no arrests were made.
