Suspects Charged In Cincinnati Overdose Cases

Cincinnati Police

Two Cincinnati residents are under federal indictment for allegedly distributing heroin-laced carfentanil. 31-year-old Phillip Watkins and 26-year-old Jeanetta Crawford are the first area residents to face federal carfentanil charges. Police believe heroin laced with the drug is responsible for 170 overdoses in Cincinnati during one week last month. Police say the two conspired to sell the mixture from their home.
