SUV Driver Indicted In June Death Of Local Toddler

geosnews.com

A Franklin County grand jury has indicted the driver of an SUV that struck and killed an infant and wounded the child's father last June. Prosecutors say witnesses accounts indicate 31-year-old Muhuba Mohamed appeared to be holding a cell phone when she lost control on Westerville Road near Innis Road. Her vehicle struck the stroller being pushed by Kenan Ferbee, injuring him and killing his 7-month-old son Micah. Mohamed faces an aggravated vehicular homicide charge. She was cited at the scene for failure to control. Prosecutors say blood tests showed no drugs or alcohol were in Mohamed's system at the time.
