Teachers At One Charter School Say They Were Not Paid
The founder of a Columbus charter school says some teachers walked off the job yesterday after failing to get paid.
Barnett Academy officials say they are attempting to work out a plan to pay the staff. The founder is not saying why employees were not paid. The school's sponsor, North Central Ohio Educational Services Center, is the same organization that sponsored the two Columbus charter schools that closed last month amid conditions the state says were poor and put student safety at risk.
