A Columbus teen has now pleaded guilty to adult charges of unintentionally shooting and killing a girl in 2014. Sentencing is scheduled April 28 for 17-year-old Tayon Dunson in the shooting death of 17-year-old Shevona Whitehead. Prosecutors say Dunson shot and killed Whitehead while he was playing with what he thought was an unloaded handgun in his South Champion Avenue home. In 2014, Dunson entered not guilty pleas to delinquency charges.
