Teen Suspect In June South Linden Slayings To Be Tried As Adult

A suspect in the execution-style murders of four people in South Linden last June will be tried as an adult. A Franklin County juvenile court judge made the ruling in the case of 17-year-old Jordyn Wade after hearing testimony about the shootings from the lone survivor. Wade is accused of helping the alleged gunman rob and kill the victims in an East Hudson Street home. Robert Adams Junior faces the death penalty if convicted. The victims were identified as 41-year-old Michael Ballour; 36-year-old Daniel Sharp; 35-year-old Angela D. Harrison; and 18-year-old Tyajah Nelson.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
