This year marks a decade of StoryCorps, which offers people the chance to record, preserve and share stories at sites around the country. The project has collected more than 45,000 interviews from nearly 90,000 participants.
The recordings are also given to the Library of Congress, and a weekly segment airs on NPR's Morning Edition. StoryCorps founder Dave Isay tells Mike Foley how it all came together.
