Ten Ohioans Now Sickened With Fungal Meningitis

A 44-year-old Franklin County woman is the latest person to contract fungal meningitis from contaminated steroid injections linked to a Massachusetts Pharmacy.The Ohio Department of Health says there are now ten cases in the state  -- five in Marion County and one each in Crawford, Hamilton, Morrow, Warren and Franklin counties. 64 facilities in Ohio received some products from the pharmacy and four Ohio clinics received the potentially contaminated steroids. At least 250 Americans have been sickened and 20 have died in the outbreak.
