Tornado Damages College

The National Weather Service says a tornado with 110 mile-per-hour winds hit the campus of Ursuline College in northeast Ohio. College officials say there were no injuries. Officials say the tornado hit at around 3:45 Saturday morning and caused an external wall of the school's O'Brien Athletic Center to collapse. It also damaged part of the facility's roof. The campus canceled classes for the weekend, and the school remains closed today while officials continue to assess the damage. The school's website says the storm also damaged several other buildings, including a science center and a library. A disaster relief fund will be established.
