Traffic Fatalities Down This Year

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says more than 8 hundred hundred people have died in crashes on Ohio roads so far this year, a decline of roughly 3 hundred from last year. The administration says Ohio had one of the largest year-to-year jumps in fatalities in the nation in 2012. An Ohio Highway Patrol spokesperson blames that increase on unseasonably warm weather that got more motorcycles on the roads earlier in the year.
