Trial Of Wild Deerkeeper Delayed

The trial for a Knox County woman charged with keeping wild deer on her property has been moved from next week to November. Carol Deyo was charged after nursing back to health two injured deer  on her farm near Mount Vernon. Her attorneys asked for the delay because doctors were concerned for her health. Deyo has breast cancer. Seven thousand people have signed her on-line petition to save her animals. The state prohibits the possession of any animals taken from the wild unless the person is licensed by the state.
