Columbus police have cited the driver of a tractor-trailer that crashed into the South High Street bridge over State Route 104 last Friday, causing structural damage. Police say 42-year-old Terry Ward of Newark was driving a vehicle too tall to fit underneath the bridge, destroying one steel beam and damaging three others. Turning lanes on the bridge remain closed.
