Two School Districts Select New Leaders

Whitehall school-board members yesterday chose Brian Hamler as the district's next superintendent.

Hamler, director of certified personnel in the South-Western City Schools, will succeed Judy Dobbert-Meloy, who is retiring at the end of the school year. Hamler was selected from a pool of six candidates.  Meanwhile the Heath School Board last week voted to hire Trevor Thomas as the district's superintendent. He takes over for the retiring Tom Forman on July First. Thomas served as assistant superintendent under Forman, and as principal of Ridgeview Junior High School in Pickerington.
