Union Official To Challenge Boehner

A union official and U.S. Army veteran today is launching a bid to unseat U.S. House Speaker John Boehner of Ohio. 37-year-old Democrat Andrew Hounshell is vice president of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, which represents hourly employees at AK Steel's Middletown plant. He gave a speech introducing President Obama at a rally in Cincinnati last September. This will be his first run for public office.
