University Of Akron Names Interim President

The University of Akron has named law school dean Matthew Wilson interim president. He takes over for Scott Scarborough, who stepped down last May amid criticism over budget cuts and a failed attempt to rebrand the school. Wilson says his first priorities are improved enrollment, retention and graduation, and stabilized finances. The search for a permanent president has not started.
