U.S., Ohio Corn Production Rose Last Year

Jan 3, 2014

The U.S. Department of Agriculture says American farmers produced nearly 14 billion bushels of corn in 2013.

Ohio growers produced nearly 632 million bushels, a 40 percent boost from 2012. Ohio farmers credit a solid year of rainfall. They say December's rain and snow helped set up the soil for a solid start to the spring planting season.
