Utility Workers May Miss Voting

Nov 6, 2012

Some utility workers dispatched to help repair communities damaged by the remnants of Hurricane Sandy may miss their chance to vote.

40 full-time Dayton Power & Light employees and as many as 200 contractors who traveled out of town to help restore power elsewhere will be too far from their local election sites to cast ballots - unless they voted early. DP&L says some supervisors reminded workers of potentially missing a chance to vote, and some did take advantage of early voting.
