Waters' Attorneys Ask To Be Removed From Second Case

A second lawsuit filed by Ohio State University's fired marching band director is being affected by his financial troubles. Attorneys for Jon Waters are asking the Ohio Court of Claims to withdraw them from his defamation lawsuit against the school. The same lawyers have asked to withdraw from Waters' federal case, citing his inability to pay. The university fired Waters in July 2014 after an internal investigation found he ignored a sexualized band culture. Waters has denied the allegations.
