Fired Ohio State University marching band director Jon Waters filed a new lawsuit today claiming the university has so damaged his reputation that he cannot get work "despite his previous renown." Waters seeks 1 million in dollars damages for violation of privacy, defamation and slander. The suit says he's applied for more than 40 high school and college marching band jobs but has received no offers. The university has yet to comment. The university dismissed Waters in July after an internal investigation found he ignored a "sexualized culture" in the band. He denies the claims and seeks reinstatement in a separate lawsuit.
