Tune in for live music, conversation and a chance to win ticketsto the show that night with Erica Blinn Band with Andrew Leahey at Natalie's in Worthington!
Columbus native Erica Blinn (now residing in Nashville, TN) constructs rust-belt rock songs one earnest melody at a time. She forces Mid-Western air through beat-up harmonicas and hammers out honest lyrics that stretch and twist through her songs. This blue-collar beauty bends the rules of blues and knocks down the walls of pop music to create a unique brand of rock music that touches the hearts and souls of the American music fan.
Blinn’s most recent release, Lovers In The Dust, was crafted with the talents of producer/engineer Mike Landolt (Maroon 5, Blues Traveler, O.A.R.) and features guest performances by names including Devon Allman, Aaron Lee Tasjan (Semi-Precious Weapons, New York Dolls) and Terry Anderson (The Yayhoos).
Over the past 3 years, she and her band toured the USA in a beat-up GMC van spreading her music far and wide. She has been fortunate enough to share the stage with many respected names in the music business, including: Blues Traveler, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Family Stone, Rick Derringer, Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers, Devon Allman, Royal Southern Brotherhood and The Clarks.
2016 sees Blinn recently relocated to East Nashville, TN. The road shows haven’t stopped and a new record is in the works.
Opening for Erica will be Andrew Leahey, who fronts his own group the Homestead, a heartland rock & roll group steeped in the melodic, guitar-driven music of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and Bruce Springsteen. He recently recorded a full-length album with producer Ken Coomer, Wilco’s former drummer.
