Wealthiest Ohioan: Les Wexner

The top Ohioan on the newly released Forbes 400 list of the richest people in America is Les Wexner of New Albany.The magazine says the owner of Columbus-based Limited Brands is worth 4-point-4 billion dollars, putting him 83rd on the list. Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert is ranked 250th with a net worth of nearly two-billion-dollars. New Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam is ranked 360th with a net worth of just over one-billion-dollars. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates remains the nation's richest man by far, with a net worth of 66 billion dollars. Forbes says the rich got richer in 2012, with net worth rising for 241 people on its list and declining for only 66.
