The Labor Department says the number of applications for unemployment insurance benefits in Ohio fell last week by 1-thousand.
Nationally, claims fell by 23-thousand to a seasonally adjusted 393-thousand. It is the second straight decline after Superstorm Sandy drove applications higher earlier this month. A Labor Department analyst says the storm had little effect on the new data.
