The Labor Department says the number of weekly applications for unemployment insurance benefits in Ohio fell by nearly 26-hundred last week due to fewer layoffs in manufacturing.
Nationally, claims fell by 5-thousand to a seasonally adjusted 366-thousand. The Department says U.S. employers added an average of 200-thousand jobs a month from November through January.
