The owners of Great Western Shopping Center have placed the Columbus facility up for sale. The shopping plaza at West Broad Street and Wilson Road will be sold via an auction that will run from August 21 through the 23rd. The mall that opened in the 1950s now has a 30 percent vacancy rate. The property had been under a contract for sale on several occassions, but those deals were not completed.
