Westerville Man Charged In California With Sex Crimes

A Westerville man has been charged with traveling to California and sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl he met online.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's department says the girl ran away from home on Sunday to meet 43-year-old Michael Scheetz. The victim was found lying on the ground in a field. She is hospitalized in good condition.
