Westerville Man Indicted For Allegedly Threatening Stivers

Franklin County Sheriff's Office

A Westerville man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly leaving a voicemail threatening central Ohio Republican Congressman Steve Stivers and his family last month. Prosecutors say the voicemail left by E. Stanley Hoff also mentioned the June 14 shooting at a Congressional baseball practice in Arlington, Virginia that left Republican House Majority Whip Steve Scalise critically wounded and four others injured.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
