Woman Exited Vehicle Before Being Hit On Freeway

Columbus police say a woman whose body was repeatedly run over on I-71 south of Cooke Road on August 21st exited a moving vehicle before she was struck and killed. Police say 22-year-old Jessica Nichols was either pushed or jumped from the vehicle, and died after being inadvertently run over by eight vehicles. No word on why she got out of the vehicle.
