Columbus police are asking for the public's help in finding the person or persons who shot and wounded an infant and a woman early Thursday morning near Mount Vernon Avenue and North 18th Street. Police say 23-year-old Jazmen Pettigrew told officers she was shot while sitting in her parked car. Police say it happened during a fight nearby. She is hospitalized in fair condition. Her 7-week-old son Mekhi is hospitalized in critical condition.
