Woman Who Helped Bonham Elude Capture Sentenced To Prison Time

Columbus Division of Police

A Mount Vernon woman was sentenced Friday to more than three years in prison for helping a friend evade law enforcement after he killed his girlfriend and mother last year. 30-year-old Ashli Price was sentenced on charges of obstructing justice and aggravated possession of drugs. The drug charges stem from when her daughter, born in May, was found to have oxycodone in her blood. Prosecutors say Price helped Travis Bonham elude police after he murdered his mother, Sandra Stelk, and girlfriend, Jaime Barber, on September 29. Bonham was found October 4 near Utica in a minivan driven by Price. He claimed to be high on bath salts and other drugs at the time. Price was arrested by Columbus police.
