Woman Who Struck And Killed Local Teacher Granted Early Release

A Delaware County judge has granted early release to the woman sentenced to 4 1/2 years in prison for a hit-and-run crash in 2013 that killed a teacher who was riding a bicycle. 39-year-old Mary Kathryn Paul must still serve three years' probation, 100 hours of community service and lose her driver’s license for life. The crash killed 64-year-old Bob Lennon, a popular teacher and running coach at St. Francis DeSales High School. Paul, who is diabetic and has poor eyesight, said she wasn't wearing her glasses and didn't know what she hit.
