Yost Orders ECOT To Stop Using State Money On TV Attack Ads

ohioauditor.gov

State Auditor David Yost has ordered Ohio's largest online charter school operators to stop using taxpayer dollars on tv ads attacking the state's decision to claw back 60 million dollars in payments for the 2015-16 school year. Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow spokesperson Neil Clark says the organization has a right to use resources they believe can lead to the Ohio Department of Education changing its decision. Clark declined to disclosed how much the school has spent on the ads. The school plans to lay off 350 employees next month.
