Central Ohio based Husband-Wife team Jill and John Garratt have assembled this band, and have a cd release show coming up.

This Show, coming up at The Shrunken Head, features performances from several other acts, including Harvest Kings, Miller Kelton, and Kevin Collins, to name a few.

It's all part of Mingo Town Music's "Big Summer Showcase 2".

Local group The DewDroppers will be giving us a sneak preview of their debut album during the Global Village on Wed. June 3rd in the 2PM hour!

They'll celebrate the release of their new CD on Sat. June 6th at The Garden Theater with local group Swank!

The Nashville, TN. duo Striking Matches (Sarah Zimmerman and Justin Davis) will play a few songs during the Global Village in advance of their show that night at The Basement with The Secret Sisters presented by WCBE! 

Currently on tour with Butch Walker, Jonathan's Columbus stop will be that evening at Park Street Saloon.

He, and his band The Northern Lights have opened for bands like AC/DC, Z.Z. Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, and also played festivals like Bonnaroo and SXSW.

On his new Release, "Holy Smokes", which will be out later this summer, he get's help from some of the guys from The Northern Lights, and other musicians from bands like Phosphorescent and Centro-Matic.

WCBE is looking forward to the return of G. Love... aka Garrett Dutton to the studio to play a few songs for us during the Global Village in advance of the show that night in Columbus! 

Local group Fever Fever will be playing a few songs for us during the Global Village on Thurs. May 21st!

Currently on tour, their stop in central Ohio will be at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza in Worthington.

Adam has seven indie cds out, and has toured the USA, Canada and Europe.

Also based in Texas, Canadian-Born Chris Carroll recently put out her first release, "Trouble & Time"

This Cleveland native has been based in Nashville for a while now.

He has also spent time living and playing in Texas.

His show at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza in Worthington will be later that evening.

Some of his more recent works include "The Longing" and "Journal".

Amy Black will perform a few songs during the Global Village in advance of her show with Brother Sun that night at Columbus Performing Arts Center!

Black's new album was recorded at FAME Recording Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL with Spooner Oldham featuring nine classic soul, R&B and blues songs and three new originals.

The Americana, Alt-Country, Roots group The Bros. Landreth will play a few songs during the Global Village in advance of their show that night at The Basement presented by WCBE! 

The Winnipeg based outfit recently won a Juno award for their new release Let It Lie and are out on the road in support of this CD with a stop in Columbus!  

Junior Kauffman, Kyle Davis and Eric Nassau make up the local folk trio the Devil Doves and they'll play a mini concert for us during the Global Village

It took Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell nearly four decades to get around to making their first duets album, Old Yellow Moon, and just two years to follow it with The Traveling Kind. Their collaborative debut may have swept two of the biggest awards in their genre — a Best Americana Album Grammy and Album Of The Year at the Americana Awards — but there were more powerful incentives for them to team up again.

Chazwick Bradley Bundick, better known by his stage name Toro y Moi, is an American recording artist and producer who is out on the road in support of his latest release What For?

They recently finished their self-titled release.

The cd release show is coming up at Woodlands Tavern on Saturday May 9.

These guys also have a show coming up at the Summer Camp Music Festival on May 21.
