WCBE is excited to have the celtic rock group Black 47 back in the studio! 

Her first professional gig was as a big band singer at age sixteen doubling on trumpet and she has since performed as a bandleader and guest artist at over 50 jazz festivals in North America, Europe, China and Japan.

Best known for her knowledge of classic jazz and pursuit of worldwide adventure, she is now creating a style rooted in hot jazz, world percussion, soul, and electronic effects available on her newest album "Into Your Own".

He won the Merlefest folk songwriting contest, and the Kerrville Folk Festival's new folk songwriting competition.

He's also had opening slots for acts like Willie Nelson, Ray LaMontagne, Nickel Creek, Keith Urban, Susan Tedeschi and Tristan Prettyman.

His show later that night will be at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza And Live Music in Worthington.

This is not Dueling Banjos: The Married Couple Edition. You won't find the careening energy of the mano-a-mano from the Deliverance soundtrack, or of the Flatt and Scruggs classic "Foggy Mountain Breakdown." Outbreaks of dazzling, speed-demon technique are few.
