WCBE is looking forward to the return of both Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore to perform Live From Studio A during the Global Village!  This time around they'll be together!  They've recently released their first collobaration together on CD called From Downey To Lubbock and we're happy they're out on tour and making a stop in Columbus!  They'll first play a few songs for us here at WCBE and then head over to

Blue Lunch is an 8 piece band from Cleveland, Ohio that play Chicago style blues, jazz, jump swing, r&b, doop wop & soul    and more!  They'll join us Live From Studio A in advance of their show that night at Natalie's with Columbus bluesman Sean Carney presented by Crazy Mama's Concerts and WCBE!     

WCBE is pleased to present The Jeffs, in studio A.

They have a new release, "The Day Tom Waits Died", available on flash drive.

The flash drive release show will be at Brothers Drake Meadery on Saturday June 16.

They also have shows coming up at The Spacebar and The Shrunken Head.

JD Wilkes and Lengendary Shack Shakers will join us Live From Studio A during the Global Village!  

They're out on the road with Wilkes' latest release Fire Dream and have also recentley released After You've Gone in 2017.

They'll perform that night at Woodland's Tavern!

WCBE is looking forward to the return of legendary musician Jorma Kaukonen to perform Live From Studio A!  

He'll peform at Natalie's in Worthington that night for an early show at 7PM and a later show at 9:30PM!

Raised in North Carolina and based in Memphis, Liz Brasher will be in town to perform at the Red Wanting Blue show at the Newport Music Hall the evening of the 8th.

The Receiver will also play at that show.

WCBE is looking forward to hosting American Aquarium Live From Studio A during the Global Village!  

This act, fronted by JT Nero and Allison Russell will be performing at this years Nelsonville Music Festival.

One of Allison Russel's other projects, Po' Girl, visited studio A back in 2009.

Thier latest release, "Love In Wartime", came out earlier this month.

In this session, we have some serious musicians who trained at a conservatory and make carefully arranged music with tricky harmonies. Sound like a recipe for fun? It is. This is Lake Street Dive we're talking about, and if you've heard any of the original music they make, you know they take all the most fun bits of pop, soul, disco, jazz, rock and roll and stitch them together into something all their own.

WCBE is looking forward to hosting Squirrel Nut Zippers Live From Studio A in advance of the show that night at Skully's with Whirlybirds!

After a 18 year hiatus, Squirrel Nut Zippers return to the road to promote their brand new album Beasts of Burgundy and we're happy to say they're making a stop in Columbus!

Most music-industry awards shows hand out armloads of trophies, but the Americana Music Association only gives out six. Besides a handful of lifetime achievement awards — which, for this year, have yet to be announced — the only categories are for best album, artist, duo/group, emerging artist, song and instrumentalist.

WCBE is looking forward to Mike Zito dropping by and performing Live From Studio A during the Global Village!  The 2018 winner of the Blues foundation award for Rock Blues artist of the year is out on the road with his brand new release First Class Life and will perform at Natalie's that night presented by Crazy Mama's Concerts and WCBE!

She's been up to a lot since her last visit to WCBE back in March of last year.

Her new release, "redisCOVERed", will come out just a few days after her visit to studio A.

She will also be performing  as a duet at Notes@Copious on May 25th.

WCBE is pleased to welcome Jill Andrews to studio A.

She will be in Columbus to play at the Rumba Cafe the evening of the 18th.

Sarah Shook & The Disarmers are out on the road with the brand new release Years and will be making a stop in Columbus! 

First, they'll perform Live From Studio A during the Global Village in the 2PM hour and that night over at the Ace Of Cups with Thelma & The Sleaze!

The Memphis band Southern Avenue is an American five-piece blues and soul blues band that will perform Live From Studio A in advance of their show that night at Natalie's presented by Crazy Mama's Concerts and WCBE!

WCBE is looking forward to the return of Matt Monta & The Haymakers to perform Live From Studio A in advance of their CD release show for Restless Disposition on Friday night at the Rumba Cafe!

WCBE will be hosting the Nick Moss Band featuring Dennis Gruenling Live From Studio A on Friday, April 20th in advance of the show that night at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza & Live Music!

They're out on the road with the brand new release The High Cost Of Low Living and we're happy that they'll be making a stop in Columbus!
