Our very own queen of the honkytonk Maggie Brennan slides on her boots and lassos the finest in American roots music and its related forms; including folk, bluegrass, rockabilly, country and more. Perfect listening after a long day on the trail or around the campfire.

This year's Music In The Round includes Brian Douglas Day, the former frontman from Yellow Light Maybe, and Carly Fratianne of the Band Souther.

Also appearing this year are singer-songwriters Joey Viola and Carole Walker.

Larry Campbell, in addition to being a member of Bob Dylan's touring band from 1997 to 2004, has also recorded with Levon Helm, Judy Collins, Lucy Kaplansky, Richard Shindell, Sheryl Crow, Paul Simon, B. B. King, Willie Nelson,  Little Feat, Hot Tuna, Cyndi Lauper and Rosanne Cash, to name a few.

Lately he's been collaborating with his wife, Teresa Williams.

These guys will be stopping by studio A before their show at Dick's Den on Wednesday the 28th.

"The Ninja And The Sea Monster" is the name of their new EP.

Hypnotide is Larry Marotta, Aaron Quinn, Brett Burleson and Joe Nelson.

The new project, "Thousand Peaces", is now out.

This Ohio based band has appeared on Whad'ya Know and Mountain Stage.

Their latest project, a cd/book with illustrations, was funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

They will be playing at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza in Worthington the evening of the 16th.

WCBE is looking forward to the return of The Infamous Stringdusters to perform Live From Studio A on Monday, Feb. 12th in advance of their show on Wednesday, Feb. 14th at The Newport with Horseshoes & Hand Grenades!  

They are now brand new Grammy award winners for Best Bluegrass Album for their 2017 release Laws Of Gravity!

Based here in Central Ohio, these guys have a new release, "American Heir".

The CD release show will be taking place at Rumba Cafe the evening of the 8th.

He won't be playing in town anywhere except for his performance in studio A, so this session will be your only chance to hear him.

Overcoats is a collaboration between Hana Elion, and JJ Mitchell.

This New York based act will be in Columbus to perform at the Rumba Café the evening of 14th.

Also playing at this show will be Gordi, based in Australia.

This singer/songwriter from the San Francisco Bay area is now on tour.

His Columbus stop will be a solo performance at the Rumba Cafe the evening of the 26th.

Their new project is "Dragonfly".

These two will return to WCBE to perform live before their show at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza in Worthington the evening of the 20th.
