The Pittsburgh Penguins scored three goals in the first five minutes of game four of their playoff series against the Blue Jackets in Columbus last night, but the Jackets tied the game in the last seconds of regulation, then scored  in overtime to win by a score of 4-3 and even the best-of-seven series at two games each.

Brandon Sutter's third period goal capped the Penguins' rally from a two-goal deficit and lifted Pittsburgh over the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 last night in game one of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals. Jackets coach Todd Richards.



Jack Johnson, Mark Letestu and Derek Mackenzie scored for the Blue Jackets, who saw the franchise record in postseason games fall to 0-5. Johnson says the team remains optimistic despite the loss.

Game two is Saturday in Pittsburgh.

The NHL has suspended Columbus Blue Jackets forward Blake Comeau two games without pay for hitting Detroit defenseman Brendan Smith from behind during a game on Tuesday.

Last night's game between host Dallas and the Columbus Blue Jackets was postponed in the first period after Stars forward Rich Peverley collapsed on the bench following a "cardiac event". Play was halted 6:23 into the game and Peverley was taken to a hospital. Doctor Gil Salazar worked on him.

Peverley missed the start of the season because of a procedure to correct an irregular heartbeat that was diagnosed during a physical exam given during training camp.The game has yet to be rescheduled.

Nick Foligno scored the game winner in overtime as the Columbus Blue Jackets kept their playoff hopes alive with a 4-3 win over host Colorado last night.

The win snaps Columbus' three game losing streak. The Sharks have lost five in a row after a 7-0 start. Dubinsky notes the 6 goals are the Jackets highest single-game total this season.
